Plan the content list before the booking
Studio time is more productive when you know what you want to leave with. List the reels, portraits, talking-head clips, product shots, campaign assets or interview segments you want to create, then group them by outfit and setup.
Choose the right type of studio booking
Some customers need photography with the Shutteris team, while others need studio or creative-space rental for their own production. Explain whether you require a photographer, only the space, or a broader production brief so the booking is structured correctly.
Build a simple shot plan
For social content, write each concept in one line: hook, visual idea, outfit, prop and estimated time. This prevents a long studio session from being consumed by decisions that could have been made before arrival.
Bring brand references
If the content is for a company or personal brand, share brand colours, campaign references, products and examples of the desired visual tone. The more specific the brief, the easier it is to keep multiple pieces of content consistent.
Allow time for changes
Outfit changes, product resets, makeup adjustments and set changes all take time. A realistic schedule protects the quality of the final content and reduces rushed decisions near the end of the booking.
Rental pricing and production pricing are different
Studio-space rental has published hourly, half-day and full-day options, while a managed content-production brief may require a custom quote. Use the service page to choose the most appropriate starting point.
Batch content around themes
Instead of producing unrelated ideas in random order, group content by background, outfit, product or message. Record everything that uses the same setup before changing the set. This saves time and makes a one-day content session much more productive.
For a founder or personal brand, one setup might cover educational talking-head videos, another could focus on portraits, and a third could be used for product or lifestyle content. Planning these groups in advance reduces unnecessary resets.
Decide who is responsible for each production task
Clarify who will handle creative direction, camera operation, styling, makeup, props, products and post-production. A studio-space rental is not automatically the same as a fully managed production service.
If you want Shutteris to provide photography or broader production support, include that in the enquiry. If you are bringing your own team, state the crew size and any space or access requirements before the booking is confirmed.
Prepare for multiple output formats
A strong content session can often produce horizontal, vertical and square material, but those formats should be planned rather than cropped blindly afterwards. Tell the team which platforms matter most and which pieces need room for text, captions or graphics. If a campaign needs both still photography and short video content, structure the sequence so the same styling and set can serve both outputs before moving to the next look.
